"this disease, why did it choose me?"
- One Litre of Tears

based on a true story of 15- year- old Ikeuchi Aya, eldest daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop. Aya suffers from spinocerebellar degeneration disease, a cruel disease which has yet to have a cure to. this 11- episode drama is a tribute to this little girl's strength, courage and determination to live life to the fullest, inspiring those around her. a must- watch, definitely. so spare some of your time, log on to crunchyroll.com, and let her story touch you, making you realise that your life aint that bad and that you ought to be ashamed of yourself for being sad and depressed about things that seem so small beside her even bigger mishap. a real tearjerker, so prepare the tissues and the possiblity of your eyes puffing up like a goldfish's.

i'm currently buffering the 5th episode. the first tears started halfway through the 3rd. so you can imagine how i woke up this morning with super puffy eyes but for once, for a good reason. worth it, so to speak.
