wants and knots.

say hello to 2006 ~

actually it doesnt feel all that different really. i mean, apart from those fireworks, which wasnt all that impressive if you ask me [ they could at least have made it REALLY boom-bang-boom, seeing that its a once a year kind of thing, besides during the NDP that is - maybe something like Gandalf's fireworks in LOTR: F.o.t.r hehh ]

oh by the way people, please refresh the page if some posts / part of the post cant be seen.
and yes, i'll continue writing, if not for the simple fact that writing remains therapeutic for me.

and, i have no resolutions for this new year. for the past years too in fact. simply coz i dont believe in making them. if i have resolutions to make, it wont be just a yearly kinda thing. i still have goals i aim for to achieve. short- term goals, long- term goals. but resolutions?

by definition, resolution means resolving; great determination. so whats the point of making them just for the sake of it, just coz everyone's making them, if you yourself dont make sure you'll fulfil them? wont they be just a waste then?

*shrugs. to each his own la.
i just find the concept of making "New Year's Resolutions" so passe.

but anyway.
here's what ive got.

: i want more of these for 06 :
- inner peace
- ultimate happiness and contentment
- the best of times with the beloveds
- complete health for mom
- quality local shows like Chase
- Johnny Depp
- ker-chings (haha, couldnt resist)
- good food
- good movies
- a special YOU
- world peace of course :)

: i can do without these in 06 :
- migraines
- Mr. Roach
- the sneaky lizards too (dammit, will someone quick invent a spray that can kill them off instantly)
- crappy shows like Tiramisu
- two- faced liars
- blaring Karaoke music from neighbour next door
- feeling depressed
- the laundry flying off

at e moment, these are what i could think of. might have more as the year goes by, we'll see how. and school starts yet again tomorrow for i believe a very hectic and whirlwind-ish four weeks, before we have the (dreaded) exams, the (awaited) vacation and then the (anticipated but with as much nervousness) industry attachment.

but i feel really lazy to be back in the "school- mode".
really do.
