flight plan

Jodie Foster really is the best actress of her generation. The Silence of The Lambs is proof enough. and now, Flight Plan. though seeming to reprise the role as an anxious mother ( Panic Room ) protecting her child from the baddies, she still shone la. period. what with those sharp sky blue eyes, which effortlessly takes you in, and such flawless talent . . it's worth it. there's also a twist to the story but Foster is enough reason for you to catch this thriller when it opens here Oct 20 . .

but this makes it two thrillers already, set on a plane, in which the female leads showed more grit, toughness and never- say- die attitude than the (bad) guy, which enable them to make a fool out of him. thats what you call girl power dudes ~ hehh.

so went JB, yeah again, yesterday with mom, to bring home some laundry back from the dry- cleaning store there. and my goodness. how my shoulders and neck were aching ! caught the movie, had drumlets, fries and some potato wedges. didnt walk around much coz the bags were being such meannies. and we certainly didnt drop by Seasons to get all those pastries and such. but we had lunch at this Nasi Kandar store and the food was soo yummilicious ! we had rice with five dishes- ayam madu, daging kambing goreng, kerang goreng basah, kentang goreng sambal, and sayur kacang panjang goreng, with bandung, ice lemon tee and teh tarik, and all for just RM16.40. [ many apologies to my muslim friends who might be reading this food list within the fasting hours ] but i just had to list it down coz such heavens ! haha. we'll surely go there again, but of coz, after Hari Raya and stuff.

by the time we were done, i could barely get up ( ish ish ) and the midday heat was making me so darn sleep, i really could have fallen asleep there and then if i had let myself to.

and there were no cowboy hats this time round. probably found it embarrassing as well. heeh. but that snaking line that you got to walk through to get to the departure gates was so damn long, it was frustrating la. i mean imagine going round and round like silly fools, ( and it didnt help that we had so much luggage ) just to get to the point where you have to surrender your bags and all to be passed though the 'X-ray' machine . . .

watched AR. and dont worry, no spoilers here for those who have yet to watch it. but im just going to say good riddance to bad mood and bratty attitude. for such a big boy too. so much for good looks.

1st day of Ramadhan today. so far so good. heeh.

and isnt it soo darn ironic that i have yet to watch Tim Burton's Corpse Bride ?? i know Ez has watched it and loved it. i cant wait la ! !
till a better date . . .
