trivia

it is so early in the morning yet here i am already. couldnt go back to sleep like i always would. its dark outside, you can even feel the dew so cold and numbing. the rain's still splashing around, as if mad at everyone still fast asleep, when they should be up and about with all the millions of things to do. greet the day! as they would say. but a child is still keeping its eyes shut, not wanting to face the world with all the mean things happening around him, with the realisation that life is not that simple. with his simple dreams shattered. with unpleasant dreams keeping him restless. a mother is still facing her back to the dawn, as she doesnt have enough energy to bring herself out of her slumber. a man is laying still, worn out with all the inner conflicts inside of him, which could have been avoided had he just stayed true and honest to himself, to his family. not wanting to get up is everyone and choosing instead to just wash away all their problems with the rain that's still falling, to remind them of who's in power. on and on the cycle goes, no one able to turn back the hands of time, not able to unwrite their chapters of life. yet in this everyday vicious cycle, someone is still hoping that the day bring new promises, new hope, new brand of life. someone out there is still praying to be reunited back with his estranged daughter. someone is still keeping her faith that her wayward son will come back home. someone is still believing that her cheating husband will come to his senses and help make things right again. someone out there is still wishing that her daddy will come home soon. its all around us, this melodrama we call life. behind closed doors the secrets are kept safe and silent. but cheery smiles and gay laughters cant hide the deep sorrow deep within, forever.

the rain's still splashing.

what are you gonna do about it?
